Amanda Woodward (Parezi, Burns, McBride, and Blake are her married surnames) is a fictional character on the primetime serial drama ''Melrose Place'', portrayed by Heather Locklear. The character was brought onto the show in order to boost its ratings, a ploy that was successful. The CW's 2009 reboot also brought Amanda back, but her appearance was not enough to prevent the show's cancellation. ''Entertainment Weekly'' named her one of the 100 Greatest Characters of the Last 20 Years. AOL ranked her the 37th Most Memorable Female TV Character. She was also included in ''TV Guide'' list of the best TV bitches,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.tvguide.com/PhotoGallery/Best-TV-es-1046470/1046479 )〕 and their 2013 list of The 60 Nastiest Villains of All Time.〔Bretts, Bruce; Roush, Matt; (March 25, 2013). "Baddies to the Bone: The 60 nastiest villains of all time". ''TV Guide''. pp. 14 - 15.〕 ==Background== Amanda Woodward is the daughter of Palmer Woodward and Hillary Michaels. She also has a half-brother, David Michaels. Following her experiences with parental neglect and domestic abuse, Amanda developed a hard shell and a sometimes testy nature. However, she retains a pleasant and compassionate side, which figures prominently into her character development. It was eventually revealed that Amanda's father, Palmer Woodward, was often absent throughout her younger years. However, he had still managed to form a fairly close bond with Amanda in time. Palmer's law-breaking activities during Amanda's adulthood eventually got the better of him, costing him his life. In the aftermath of these events, Amanda arrived at the morgue to pay her respects. Amanda graduated from The California Institute of the Arts before working at D&D. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Amanda Woodward (Melrose Place)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
